About Her
Looking for someone to share this adventure called life! I choose to live where the flowers grow wild and I regularly have to brake for bushbuck crossing my road home. At the same time I've got a resident travel bug and love exploring new and distant lands and learning about the people and wildlife there. I've just returned from a holiday in Madagascar that covered everything from living in a little bit of luxury in paradise to camping on a remote Island and bartering fish, which we had caught, with the locals for the use of their beach for the night; to roughing it in a dorm room to listen to Indri calling in the early hours of the morning- although I do have to admit I've outgrown the dorm room.
Traveling has always been an essential part of my life and, as one of my Malagasy guides put it, travel and seeing different places and people and lands makes your mind work as your ideals and interpretations of the world are constantly tested.
Closer to home I'm very happy in jeans and hiking boots but can rip up the dance floor in stilettos when I want to, which is often. I love animals and I do think the way people treat animals says a great deal about them. I also think smoking says a good deal about someone's self worth, or lack thereof.
On the more soppy side, I am affectionate, easily swept off my feet on the dance floor by a sporty gentleman, and respond well to intelligent conversation, adventures and physical contact. :-)
I love this country, and hope I never feel the need to leave for more than visits abroad or to explore somewhere new - SA will always be home.
